Welcome to The Tubman Travel Project. We began in September 2021 in Texas as an immediate response to crisis, when state legislators effectively ended abortion care and destabilized reproductive access across the country.

What started as critical improvisation became design.

Tubman built a high-touch, complete wrap-around, one-day abortion travel care model providing full assistance, companionship, and structured support for those traveling out of state for care. We built it in real time. We tested it. We refined it. We carried it on the ground.

Over five years, we proved something undeniable: reproductive freedom travel can be dignified, structured, and deeply human. We demonstrated what is possible when travel care is designed with dignity, excellence, and logistical integrity at its core.

The proof has been established. Now the mandate expands.

This next chapter is about constructing the systems required to make this model replicable and durable across a decentralized network that cannot be dismantled by political whiplash, funding shifts, or centralized gatekeeping.

We are scaling the architecture and opening the pathway for brave builders and conviction-driven leaders.
